Cheesesteaks Top Revolution, 3-1, Behind Quintero
|
Philadelphia Cheesesteaks starter Tomás Quintero turned in an exceptional performance against the Boston Revolution at Jackie Robinson Place, resulting in a Philadelphia win, 3-1. Philadelphia goes to 12-7.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Quintero, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 8 innings and allowed only 5 hits. Quintero, who finished 5th in the FR in innings pitched with 218.2 in 2062, raised his record to 3-1 on the year with 29 strikeouts.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Quintero said.
