Orlando left-hander Jerry Daniels pitched his team to victory over the Honolulu High Tide at Champagne of Beers Field. The final score was 5-2. Orlando, now 13-8, has gotten their season off to a good start.

One of the clutch hits for Orlando came from one of their biggest talents. In the top of the seventh with two out, Mike Allen, who finished 3rd in the AP in home runs with 51 in 2064, hit a run-scoring single to put the Rum Runners up, 3-1. For the game, the second baseman went 3-4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Allen.
