The West Island Storm got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ron Collins, who kept Cape Canaveral hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Storm win at Launch Pad. Vincent Curtis earned the save for West Island , his 5th of the year. West Island , now 8-13, is off to a slow start.

Collins made it look easy. He scattered 2 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-2.

"I love playing this game, so you'll never see me not want to go out there and pitch," said Collins.
