Iowa and Redstone duked it out and the Crop Circles came out victorious.

The Iowa Crop Circles bumped off the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 7-4, at The Cornfield. Perwiro Amaya hit 2 singles and 1 double. He also had 1 RBI. Picking up his 1st save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Alberto Cota.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Amaya hit a run-scoring single off Greg Canseco. It propelled the Crop Circles into the lead, 3-2.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Amaya.

Iowa, now 9-14, is off to a slow start.
