The Alcatraz Island Jail Break got a strong performance from pitcher Flávio Rivera, who stymied the St. Paul offense en route to a win, 1-0, at The Rock. Alcatraz Island reliever Harrison Balcome picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Martin Tucker was tagged with the loss. The loss has the Bearers at 10-10.
Alcatraz Island took a 1-0 lead on Soh Kouda's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Kouda hit in the bottom of the seventh, left St. Paul pitcher Gonzalo Martínez visibly frustrated.
Alcatraz Island manager Justin Fusco called it "a good, solid win."
