Philadelphia turned a fine outing from starter Richard Carpenter into a victory over the Death Valley Burn at William Penn Park. The final score was 3-2. Carpenter got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The win puts Philadelphia at 15-10.
