The Minneapolis Maulers downed the Richmond Ravens, 11-3, at Battle Field. Mysterious Walker led the way, going 2-for-5 for Minneapolis. Walker got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The loss drops Richmond to 12-11.

Marvin Harris had a big 2-run double for the Maulers in the top of the second inning. With Minneapolis leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Peter Wright and swatted a double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Maulers ahead, 3-0.
