The home crowd had a good time watching the Mexico City Diablos and Iowa Crop Circles get after it.

The Iowa Crop Circles faced a tough opponent in Mexico City pitcher Gary Johnson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Cornfield by a final score of 7-3. Johnson went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Alberto Cota picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. George Garrett suffered the loss.

Larry MacIntosh, who is rated as the 55th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Iowa cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," MacIntosh told the Iowa Citizen.

The Diablos, now 8-18, continue their poor start.
