Late Magic Gets Glacier Bay 6-3 Win
The Glacier Bay Ice Pirates had to overcome a big game from Reading center fielder Dave Rouse to leave Schuylkill Landing Park with a victory. And they did, winning 6-3. Rouse was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The winner was Vicente Hernández in relief. His record improves to 1-1. José Méndez took the loss. Losses have been rare for the Railbirds, who are now 19-7.

Robin Rollins, who is tied for 8th in the FR in bases on balls with 13, aided the Glacier Bay cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.

Rollins called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
