Victory Takes Storm to 17-9
|
West Island Storm starter Chris Hall pitched his team past the Minneapolis Maulers, 5-2. Hall got the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed 7 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Hall allowed 2 runs. For Minneapolis, now 5-21, the season is off to a dismal start.
The Storm got a big at-bat from left fielder P.J. Allen. For the game, Allen was 1-3 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave West Island a 3-2 lead.
