The Vermont Lake Monsters downed the Keg Creek Coyotes, 10-4, at Welsh Field. The Lake Monsters were led by Graham McCoy. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Vermont is now 19-9.

Vermont took a 5-4 lead on Ed Greer's 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Keg Creek pitcher Jesse Parker in the bottom of the seventh.

"I still think this team can play even better," Greer told the Vermont Observer.
