Tight Tilt Goes to Ridge Raptors, 3-2
|
Redstone Ridge Raptors starter Mark Anthony was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Death Valley Burn, 3-2. The win has Redstone at 2-2.
The Ridge Raptors got a big at-bat from shortstop Rod Malone. For the game, Malone went 2-4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Redstone a 3-2 lead.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Redstone manager Barry L said.
