Craig Now 1-0 After Subduing Crop Circles
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Iowa Crop Circles and Reading Railbirds get after it.
Iowa had no answer for Reading Railbirds hurler Avery Craig, who overwhelmed Crop Circles hitters as the Railbirds coasted to victory, 6-0. The loss has the Crop Circles at 0-4.
Craig was in the zone all game. He frustrated Iowa hitters while giving the Railbirds 8.1 innings of quality work. Craig threw 94 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 5 punchouts.
"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Craig after the game.
