The Philadelphia Cheesesteaks beat the Iowa Crop Circles, 8-3, at The Cornfield. Francis Joseph, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2072 draft, starred for Philadelphia. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Richard Carpenter, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 6.1 innings.
