The Laredo Border Jumpers beat the Vermont Lake Monsters, 4-0. Laredo pitcher and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, native Wiley Prince led the way. Prince picked up the win for Laredo, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1.

Pablo Romero, who is tied for 4th in the FR in stolen bases with 10, aided the Laredo cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder drew 2 walk.

"Wiley had electric stuff," said Laredo manager Dave Galindo.
