Keg Creek Gets 6-3 Win
Keg Creek and Philadelphia duked it out and the Coyotes came out victorious.

The Keg Creek Coyotes picked up a win at William Penn Park, knocking off the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, 6-3. Starting pitcher Gerald Casey played a key role in the triumph. Casey went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 9. His record improves to 5-1. Júlio Ortíz collected his 8th save.

Keg Creek relied on the bat of Alex Morrow to get the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Coyotes ahead, 6-2. For the game, Morrow had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Gerald -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Coyotes manager Jay Kunstler. "He was the key to us winning."

The loss makes Philadelphia 16-13.
