Diablos Collect 5-4 Win Over Chicken Haulers
|
The Mexico City Diablos topped the Amarillo Chicken Haulers, 5-4, in Frontier action at Corona Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Mexico City pitcher John Allain. The Chicken Haulers are now 11-20.
The Diablos procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Scotty Long. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"The house was rockin'," said Long.
