Coyotes Beaten By Mashers, 3-2
|
Both teams had their chances, but the Crab Apple Cove Mashers eventually prevailed.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Crab Apple Cove Mashers and the Keg Creek Coyotes, Francisco García, who is tied for 10th in the FR in wins with 3, was the difference-maker. The Crab Apple Cove left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The Coyotes, now 10-23, have lost 8 in a row.
In the bottom of the third, Dalton Crowe delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Crab Apple Cove designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, putting the Mashers in front, 3-2.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Keg Creek skipper James DaBears.
