The Iowa Crop Circles grabbed a win, 6-3, over the Atlantic City Aces at The Cornfield. Iowa center fielder Sam Dixon went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. David Hodge earned the save, his 10th. The slumping Aces have dropped 7 in a row.

Don McCormack, who finished 4th in the FR in extra base hits with 76 in 2065, chipped in for Iowa with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," McCormack told the Iowa News.
