Border Jumpers Suffer 3-2 Loss to Cape Canaveral
The Cape Canaveral Launch picked up a win at Launch Pad, courtesy of Gordon Ziersch. The right-hander helped his team stop the Laredo Border Jumpers, 3-2. Edward Rascoe earned the save for Cape Canaveral, his 10th of the year. With the win, the Launch sit at 27-6.

Jeremy Watson, who finished 4th in the AP in runs with 140 in 2058, aided the Cape Canaveral cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.

Ziersch said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
