Launch Top Monuments, 3-1, Behind Barnett
|
The Cape Canaveral Launch got a magnificent performance from pitcher Ken Barnett, who stifled the Washington offense en route to a 3-1 Launch win at Launch Pad. Cape Canaveral is now 29-8, 6½ games up in the Appalachian Coastal.
Barnett was in the zone all game. He frustrated Washington hitters while giving the Launch 7 innings of quality work. Barnett threw 107 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 11 punchouts.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Barnett.
