Revolution Lose, 5-2, as Railbirds Rally
The Reading Railbirds knocked off the Boston Revolution, 5-2, in Frontier action at Jackie Robinson Place. Reading pitcher and Tomé, Chile, native Fernando Franco had an outstanding performance. Martín Burgos nailed down his 6th save. Reading leads the Frontier Northern by 5½ games.

Reading relied on the bat of Ronald Fitzgerald to get the win. The center fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Railbirds ahead, 4-2. For the game, Fitzgerald had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"It's still just a game," said Fitzgerald, "whether you win or lose."
