Cape Canaveral left-hander Michael Erickson pitched his team to victory over the Washington Monuments at Launch Pad. The final score was 6-5. Erickson went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 3-2. Edward Rascoe earned the save for Cape Canaveral, his 12th of the year.

Dave Little dealt the Monuments a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Cape Canaveral leading 1-0, Little hit a 2-2 fastball for a 2-run single.
