The Vermont Lake Monsters grabbed a win, 10-3, over the Orlando Rum Runners at Krono Field. Vermont first baseman Graham McCoy went 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Eric Bennett came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 4 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. With the win, Vermont climbs to 4-1.

McCoy had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Gerald Martin, he banged a bases-clearing double to right, giving the Lake Monsters a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for McCoy.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said McCoy.
