The Death Valley Burn topped the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates, 2-1, in Frontier action at Liquor Luge. The game was highlighted by the performance of Death Valley pitcher Roberto Nevárez. Death Valley reliever Glenn León picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. José Ortíz was saddled with the loss. John Gates earned save number 7 this season.

Death Valley relied on the hitting of Gerald Green to pick up the win. The third baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Burn on top, 2-1. For the game, Green had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

In postgame comments to the Death Valley Daily News, Green said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
