Havana Comrades starter YaKov Blumpkin pitched his team past the Iowa Crop Circles, 4-0. Blumpkin, now 3-3, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing no runs. With the victory, the Comrades upped their record to 27-14.

Randy Haney had a big 2-run triple for the Comrades in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Havana leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Clyde Barfoot, who is tied for 7th in the FR in innings pitched with 51.2, and swatted a triple to left. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Comrades ahead, 3-0.
