The West Island Storm defeated the Amarillo Chicken Haulers, 7-5. First Baseman Kyle Harmon deserved a large share of the credit. Harmon was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Storm. John Hébert, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. The victory puts West Island at 12-28.

Harmon had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Morgan Banks, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Storm a 7-5 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Harmon.

"Kyle was ready to go. Big day for him," said West Island manager Matthew Tietz.
