Burn Rally Late to Nip Ridge Raptors
The Redstone Ridge Raptors and Death Valley Burn provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Death Valley Burn racked up a win at The Burn Yard, bumping off the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 7-6, in 10 innings. John Allain, who started for Death Valley, pitched effectively for his team. The victory gives Death Valley a record of 20-20.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Death Valley right fielder Sergio López, facing John Cunningham, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Burn the 7-6 win.

"The ending was a real humdinger," López told reporters after the game.
