The home crowd had a good time watching the Redstone Ridge Raptors and Death Valley Burn get after it.

Jon Benavidez was instrumental in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Redstone Ridge Raptors. The left fielder was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 3 times for the Death Valley Burn. Pepe Guillén got the win, improving to 5-1. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 0. Brandon Holcomb wrapped it up, recording his 12th save.

In the top of the ninth, Máximo Delgado stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Ridge Raptors were trailing 7-5, but had runners on 1st and 2nd. That's when Brandon Holcomb made a terrific pitch and Delgado flied out. Gone was the dream of a Redstone comeback.

With the win, the Burn have a record of 21-20.
