Richmond Gets 7-4 Win
|
Ravens right fielder Clifford Duncan left his mark on his team's 7-4 win over the Honolulu High Tide. Duncan, who finished 3rd in the AP in hits with 188 in 2073, went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 for Richmond in the contest. Stephen Dundee picked up the win, lifting his record to 7-2 on the season. He struck out 9 and walked 2 in 8 innings, while yielding 3 runs. The Ravens now have a record of 22-19 with the win over Honolulu.
Albert Dyer was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Richmond. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Mike Wolf. It was his 40th hit of the season.
"Solid performance from our side," said Ravens manager Jason Cary.
