Crop Circles Stumble, Lose to Revolution
The Boston Revolution got a marvelous performance from pitcher Martin Wilson. The right-hander kept the Iowa offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 9-1 Boston victory at The Cornfield. Boston reliever Martin Wilson was credited with the win. His record goes to 4-1. Scott Swanson took the loss for Iowa. The Revolution improved their record to 22-23 by beating Iowa.

In the top of the third, Boston catcher Sam Farrell had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Farrell stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 3-0, Boston. For the game, he went 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Wilson. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
