High Tide Topple Ravens with Late Rally
The Honolulu High Tide turned back the Richmond Ravens, 8-7, at Champagne of Beers Field. Tetsuhiko Matsumoto, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The winner was Honolulu reliever Xavier Bender, now 1-0. The loser was Francisco Mateo. The loss makes Richmond 22-20.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Matsumoto hit a fastball from Francisco Mateo for a solo home run. The High Tide, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The house was rockin'," said Matsumoto.
