2-1 Win for Reading Over Glacier Bay

Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Reading Railbirds and the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates. Reading won it, 2-1. Reading starter Connor Kelloway was in command. Reading reliever Andrés Torres picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Armando Ramos absorbed the loss. Héctor Rodríguez wrapped it up, recording his 7th save.
Had José Ramos not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ramos hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Railbirds.
Reading manager Slam Dunks said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
With the win, the Railbirds hiked their record to 22-21.
