Bearers Squelch Revolution Offense in Shutout Win
|
The St. Paul Bearers topped the Boston Revolution, 3-0, with center fielder Ka-pa Si-ma playing a big role. Si-ma went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bearers in the win. Chris Long earned the win to go to 2-4. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. The Bearers sport a record of 17-26.
Si-ma had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh to put St. Paul in front, 3-0. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run.
