Gerald Casey could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Keg Creek Coyotes lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Honolulu High Tide at Coyote Den Stadium. Stephen Brooks, the winner, goes to 5-2. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 10 strikeouts over 6.1 innings. Honolulu has now won 3 in a row.

Honolulu used a well-timed hit by J.J. Burns to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the High Tide ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
