Magicians Score Late to Upend Chicken Haulers, 7-6
The Michigan Magicians topped the Amarillo Chicken Haulers, 7-6, in Appalachian action at The Chicken Coop. The game was highlighted by the performance of Michigan first baseman José Acevedo. Brad Beck notched his 3rd save of the season. Michigan, with the win, climbs to 14-32.

Had Gilby Terry not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Terry hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Magicians.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Michigan manager Henry Lehrer.
