Schuylkill Landing Park was the site for Frontier action featuring the San Jose Cuervo and Reading Railbirds.

The Reading Railbirds defeated the San Jose Cuervo, 8-5, at Schuylkill Landing Park today. Leading the charge for Reading was designated hitter Jeremy Watson. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Earning his 1st save for Reading was Kenny Goldsmith.

Watson had a key at-bat for Reading early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Reading an early 2-0 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Watson. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

San Jose is 2-3 after the loss.
