Mashers Reel Off Another Win
Tim Barnes never let Mexico City get something going. The Crab Apple Cove right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Mashers to a 2-0 win. Barnes went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 1-3. Colby Wilson earned the save, his 5th.

Crab Apple Cove used the bat of Dalton Crowe to get the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mashers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Crowe said in reaction to the win.

The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Mashers.
