A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates and Alcatraz Island Jail Break.

Led by Leon Boyce, the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates defeated the Alcatraz Island Jail Break, 11-2. Boyce went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Ice Pirates. Alcatraz Island is now 4-2.

With Glacier Bay leading 2-1 in the top of the sixth, Boyce hit a sinker from Dudley Barnes for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Ice Pirates ahead, 5-1.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Justin Fusco.
