Reading got a terrific game from first baseman Jeremy Watson. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Glacier Bay, 6-5. Watson went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The winner was Glacier Bay reliever Vicente Hernández, now 3-3. The loser was Anthony Hunt. With the win over Reading, the Ice Pirates improved to 25-24.

Kun Pak aided the Glacier Bay cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Glacier Bay manager Matt Lehrer.
