Victory Over Comrades Takes Death Valley to 30-20
The Death Valley Burn picked up a win at The Burn Yard, knocking off the Havana Comrades, 7-5. Starting pitcher Ed Knox was a big reason why. Miguel Torres closed the game out for Death Valley, earning his 2nd save. The victory gives the Burn a record of 30-20.

The Burn got a big at-bat from second baseman Christian Dyer. For the game, Dyer was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Death Valley a 3-1 lead.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Dyer told the Death Valley Bulletin.
