Monuments Suffer 9-5 Road Loss
|
Paul Davis was a vital contributor to the 9-5 Keg Creek victory over Washington. The Coyotes second baseman went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Keg Creek goes to 27-23, Washington to 25-25.
Keg Creek took the lead, 7-4, on Steven Curry's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Washington pitcher John Souza in the bottom of the seventh.
"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Davis told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
