Lake Monsters Walk It Off for 35th Win of Season
Michigan center fielder Walt Browning had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Browning was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, even as Vermont beat the Militia, 5-4. The Lake Monsters own a robust 35-17 mark.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Vermont left fielder Justin Baker, facing Dave Kennedy, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Lake Monsters the 5-4 win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Kevin Tucker, the Vermont skipper.
