Lake Monsters Fall Short, 4-3, at Cape Canaveral
The Cape Canaveral Launch picked up a win at Launch Pad, knocking off the Vermont Lake Monsters, 4-3. Starting pitcher Máximo Valentín was a big reason why. The winning streak has now reached 10 games for Cape Canaveral.

In the bottom of the sixth, Cape Canaveral left fielder Jeremy Watson gave his team the lead. With one out and a runner on 1st, Ratbreath hit his 14th home run of the year. Vermont pitcher Hsu Kau surrendered it. With that, the Launch jumped in front, 4-3.

"We'll enjoy this ride as long as it lasts," said Launch manager .
