Taylor Rips 2 Home Runs in 5-4 Bearers Triumph
St. Paul first baseman Ed Taylor made his presence felt in the 5-4 Bearers triumph over the Laredo Border Jumpers. Taylor slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. St. Paul pitcher John Wilson got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Michael Cook got the loss. St. Paul is now 1-4.

With St. Paul leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Taylor hit a curveball from Michael Cook for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Bearers ahead, 4-1.

"Enjoyed this one," Taylor told the St. Paul Citizen. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
