Outlaws Deal Chicken Haulers 8-3 Defeat
|
Ozark right fielder Leonardo Pagán played a vital role in his team's 8-3 conquest of Amarillo. He was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Ozark. Ozark reliever Joseph Simpson snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. Severus Snape shouldered the loss. Ozark is first in the Appalachian Southern with a record of 34-22.
Early in the game, Pagán had a grand slam home run for Ozark. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Outlaws on top, 4-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pagán told the Ozark Gazette.
