The Havana Comrades took Redstone pitcher Greg Canseco's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Raptor's Nest. The final score had Havana getting past the Ridge Raptors, 2-1. Canseco went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. The victory gives Havana a record of 31-29.

Havana took a 2-0 lead on Jim Peterson's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Peterson hit in the top of the seventh, left Redstone pitcher Greg Canseco visibly frustrated.

"This was a tough loss," said Redstone manager Barry L. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
