Glover Helps Glacier Bay Cruise to 11-3 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Cape Canaveral Launch and Glacier Bay Ice Pirates get after it.

Donald Glover was a major factor in the 11-3 Glacier Bay win over Cape Canaveral. The Ice Pirates right fielder was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Tim Reynolds, the winning pitcher, is now 2-4. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, while fanning 4 and walking 1.

The Ice Pirates got an important contribution from third baseman Bei Kun, who in the bottom of the second punched a first pitch fastball into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Ice Pirates ahead, 2-0.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Cape Canaveral manager .

The second-place Launch have lost 7 straight games.
