Connor Kelloway brought his A-game to help Reading defeat the Newark Falcons, 5-0. The win for the Railbirds lifted their record to 37-26.

The Railbirds got a big at-bat from right fielder Roberto Clemente. For the game, Clemente went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Reading a 1-0 lead.

"Connor was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Reading manager Slam Dunks.
