Reading Win to Pull Even With Philadelphia
The Reading Railbirds topped the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks by the score of 6-2 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Round 2 today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Reading starter Carlos Caro, who threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball in the win.

Richard Elmore aided the Reading cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Caro told the Reading Citizen. "It's as simple as that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at William Penn Park in Philadelphia.
