The Alcatraz Island Jail Break started the Round 3 in style today, downing the visiting Reading Railbirds at The Rock by a score of 9-1 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Jail Break third baseman Nick Juárez was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs.

Scot Potter, who finished 4th in the AP in extra base hits with 84 in 2065, chipped in for Alcatraz Island with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 5 RBI.

"We lost," Reading manager Slam Dunks said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."
